Description

ConocoPhillips' operations in Norway are led from the company's offices in Tananger outside Stavanger. ConocoPhillips is the largest foreign operator on the Norwegian continental shelf. The company is the operator of the fields in the Greater Ekofisk Area, and has attractive ownership interests in fields such as Heidrun, Troll, Statfjord, Visund, Oseberg, Alvheim and Grane.

The main purpose of the role as part of the ConocoPhillips Capital Projects team is to plan and execute different types of internal and external communication efforts to enhance the Company's competitive position and ensure employee enthusiasm, support and commitment.




Responsibilities
The Information Management Lead may be responsible for:
*






Information management within the Norway Capital Projects through all project phases.
*






Manage, organize and control the activities of the Information Management team. Handle personnel responsibilities, set team goals and targets and coach team members to achieve significant results. Be an active and visible role model; promote motivation, good communication and a positive work environment.
*






Meet regulatory and Company requirements with regard to information management in the project.
*






Ensure compliance with the Company Document Records Management Policy (including document
retention schedule, legal holds, etc.).
*






Ensure implementation of information management as described in relevant project procedures.
*






Ensure contractors comply with ConocoPhillips project information management requirements.
*






Ensure all necessary liaisons between Project Teams and Contractor's Information Management, be the point of contact towards contractor's project management functions.
*






Be point of contact and assist with the implementation of new information management systems in the project. Ensure that the project's requirements are catered for and duly considered during planning, set up and implementation of new project information management systems.
*






Ensure adequate training of project personnel in use of the project's information management system(s).
*






Procurement interface to ensure project requirements for supplier document handling are met. Responsible for information management input to main contracts.
*






Coordinate the implementation of ConocoPhillips additional technical requirements for Engineering Numbering Systems (COPENS) and Documentation for Operation (DFO) and ensure that the information defined as DFO is transferred to ConocoPhillips in accordance with defined handover routines.

Actively use Company knowledge sharing, apply best practices, synergies and lessons learned from other projects and operations.
Basic/Required Qualifications
*

Legal right to live and work in Norway on a permanent basis without restrictions.
*

B.Sc. or comparable technical or administrative/commercial education.
*

Minimum 5-10 years experience from information management, incl. major projects. Less formal education may be compensated with documented relevant experience
*

Extensive knowledge of electronic tools used for information management.
*

Demonstrated abilities to lead a group of professionals through all phases of a project.
*

Strong English communication skills both written and verbally
Preferred Qualifications
*
Experience in using Livelink
*
Experience in using Intergraph Smartplant Engineering tools.
*
Knowledge of ConocoPhillips DFO
*
M.Sc. or comparable technical or administrative/commercial education.
*
Strong Norwegian communication skills both written and verbally
*
Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
